On handling it from the inside (again)

In The Way to Happiness (TWTH), LRH writes:

Unscrupulous and evil men and groups can usurp the power of government and use it to their own ends. […] Opposition to such governments usually just brings on more violence. But one can raise his voice in caution when such abuses are abroad. And one need not actively support such a government; doing nothing illegal, it is yet possible, by simply withdrawing one’s cooperation, to bring about an eventual reform.

I may be more of a revolutionary than that, but Ron may have a point when it comes to handling the issues from the inside.

““When buildings get important to us, for God`s sake, some
of you born revolutionists, will you please blow up central
    headquaters.“

    Just another Viewpoint!

Sounds like a great idea for a party!

In this case BYOB would stand for “Bring Your Own Blasting Caps” 🙂

Not to put too broad a point on it but it has taken more than 30 years of people attempting to “handle” from the outside to reach the present state of people inside willing to consider an “internal handling”.

The tendency by members “in good standing” within the Co$ has been to IGNORE actual conditions and focus on “own goals”. Gross outrages such as “gangbang sec checks”, continual sec checking of OTs, horrendous staff conditions, failures to meet obligations to staff & public, and a slew of major church scandals, were simply “not is-ed” or attributed to “external sources of suppression”.

It’s past time for those who are still “in” to start making some NOISE about things. Why is it DM gets away with extravagant PR shows? Call him out in public for his BS.

As my colorful texan aunt was accustomed to say: piss or get off the pot.

I am getting a lot of TA actions by sending this LRH quote from The Way to Happiness to the on-line Scientologists. Especially OTVIIIs are agreeing with it and taking action.
Those who are blind and following “command intention” (DM) can completely deny LRH.
Lets just help those who are ready to leave CoS, eventually the rest will do the same.

If possible, handle it from the inside so we can get a functioning CoS. If that doesn’t work out (it certainly looks hard with one man having so much power), handle it from the outside. But in the end, I think it has to be handled from the inside. It should be. So doing it from the outside is a step to finally be able to handle it from the inside.

A Scientologist told me that any outpoint in CoS must be handled within the Church by writing KRs to the proper terminals. This is part of my reply:

“If you see the church crumble, Scientology gaining everyday more and more negative PR and attacks, and you see that the reason of that happening lies in the out-ethics, out-policy actions of Management, you would really limit yourself to write them up in a KR and observe Management and Scientology Justice do nothing about it? You think Ron would limit himself to write up KRs?

But I wonder how many reports you wrote in the last years that got a situation handled.I wrote quite a few reports on outpoints I observed and nothing got handled but I surely got the MAA interested in me and “Why I was complaining” instead of simply following the Party Line.

How many Scientologists learned the hard way that it is better to not complain and steer away from any critical thought about Management, no matter what it does? A simple “I blindly thrust management” and “Management know best” attitude is the best way to stay away from Ethics problems and move faster up the Bridge and fly through the refreshers in the current church, but it is also a sign of irresponsibility.

A real “OT”, in my eyes is someone who handle what he sees, who is not afraid to apply the data series and look at what it is there. When the Anonymous begun to attack the Church, a real OT would not just listen to the Management explanation that “they are just a bunch of Terrorists paid by the Psychos, they do that because we’re expanding”. A real OT would think “what the Church is doing to pull this in?” and start looking. A real OT would say “where are the stats?”

Maybe he would have found hundreds of families complaining about wrongful “disconnection” or SP declares and a bogged justice system in the Church. Maybe he would have found out that enforcing abortions on Sea Org members was not a brilliant idea by David Miscavige.

Why there are no real stats shown at the events, except the new stats that were not created by LRH, like “volunteer Ministers in action” or “TWTH booklets handouts” or “book sold” with the Basics (enforcing Scientologists to buy multiple sets of books is not a sign of expansion).

    Where is VSD?
Where are the Saint Hill Size Orgs?
Where are numbers of Clears and number of Auditors made?

Yes, LRH is clear, when you see something off policy the right thing to do is to write it up in a KR, but he also states that the wrong thing to do it is to follow it. Following illegal orders, like accepting to donate to Ideal Org programs, IAS status levels and similar, instead of solving Orgs problems with more Scientology delivery, it is putting the whole Church into a liability. Because the lack of delivery and results is what may ultimately do Scientology in.

You think that LRH would be proud of Ideal Orgs?
You think he would be proud about people donating to IAS or buildings instead of buying services and progress up the Bridge?

Do not just listen to Management. Do not just listen to Miscavige. Do not just listen to me or to info on Miscavige that can be found on blogs, but take a direct look at what is in front of you, inform yourself and make up your own mind.

As long as you keep your integrity intact, nothing could really harm you.”

Not sure if this is off-topic or not, but would it be possible to get enough disillusioned Scientologists to an event to start a proper *boo/whistle* when DM gets on stage? What would the fallout of such an action be?

Sorry to reply to my own post, but I was thinking that it might shock a lot of non-looking Scientologists into evaluating their out-points and start questioning?

      • 2009-10-21 at 18:29

Yes, it might just do that.

    • 2009-10-21 at 18:28

Not off-topic. It’s an idea that has been floating. It should be done. The effect would be categorized as “Interesting” 😉

Would there be security personnel at these events that would handle that kind of disturbance or would they in general be powerless to do something about it if a large enough group were doing it?

        • 2009-10-22 at 06:41

There is security personnel – but if let’s say a 100 attendees would suddenly, in the middle of DM’s speech, stand up and shouted “NO!” and started singing Pink Floyd’s “The Wall”… what could they do? The would rush in and in a flurry try to handle the situation. It would be a mess.
